But did I die...

I was slumbering, pretty peacefully I'd say when I felt something crawling on my arm. No in ever in life has seen me move that fast, and no one probably ever will. What can I say...I really freakin hate bugs.

Anyway, now that I'm up at the worst possible time since I was supposed to have another hour of snooze time, I thought I would do an in depth talk through of what's going to come next from me.

   As many of you know, The Final Hour came out last Thursday (Woo!) and it looks like people rather enjoyed it--considering I have nine reviews on Amazon, eight of them being five star, a first for me.

   Now that Mishca and Lauren's story, the heart of it, has been told, it's time to move on to different characters. That isn't to say we won't see more of them, we will. There are two more books for the Volkov Bratva planned, plus two spinoff series I have planned, which I will talk more about in a moment. This, in itself, is why the epilogue in The Final Hour just stays current. We still have yet to truly come to an end.


   Now, onto books.


   Okay, so maybe two months ago, I changed the order to which book would be released next. Luka (Hidden Monsters) was going to be first, then Klaus (Red.) Then I changed it. Now, I'm not sure who will be first, thanks in part to both of those guys clamoring away in my head.

       We'll see.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is how I picture Luka. Same great bone structure, clean shaven, messy wavy hair. I mean, isn't he just nice to look at? Luka hides behind his pain, a truly tortured soul, but he finds his redemption and as I write him, I never realized just how much Luka sacrifices for those he cares about. You'll see more of that in his book.

    Right, maybe it's just me that swoons over hot Russians (and he's actually Russian)

Can you see the differences although they are twins? (and the fact that Gaspard Ulliel is only one man)



 Klaus looks angry, more brooding, and he has every right to be, as you'll read in Red. His story is kind of heartbreaking, as well as uplifting because he rises from the ashes of his past for a future he never thought he could have. I love Klaus, dearly. Maybe even a little more than Mishca.




So look for Hidden Monsters (or Red.) this fall.

The Final Hour First 3 Chapters

Under Construction

My site is currently under construction...

But...But...But...

But I have so many ideas...

Okay, so I have plenty of ideas, infinite amounts of stories I want to tell, but for some reason, my mind still goes back to the question, 'well, is that it for Mishca and Lauren?'

   About an hour ago, after I showered and ate breakfast, this blinding ray of a story arc hit me, and my immediate thought was, I can't continue their story. It has to be wrapped up and pretty in The Final Hour.
   But this idea!!!
   If I was able to write it, and actually do it justice, it could be phenomenal. And I want to, I really do. Then, I began to worry that anything over a trilogy (because that's kind of what Mishca and Lauren are at the moment) would just be overkill.

   I remember reading this post from an author I follow, explaining why she wouldn't continue a storyline with two particular characters. She said it was because, 'For there to be another book, there would have to be another conflict.'
   I did think of that post when I was pondering this new idea for Mishca and Lauren. Was there enough of a conflict? Do people really want to read more about that damned Russian and the soon-to-be wife he loves?

   K, so I can't say for sure whether or not I'm going to actually go through with it (it's far too early to tell). But regardless, since it is my book, my world, I shall take the advice of Loki.

Updates.

I've been hard at work on The Final Hour, and I'm nearly half way finished with the first draft. (Which is awesome of course). But that hasn't been my only focus. I've also been working on The Kingmaker, and as you can see if you've been on my website lately, it went from being a series to a standalone. I felt it would be better as a standalone, but it's going to be LONG, but worth it though.

   Right now, the release is scheduled for March of 2015, and that's still the case, but it will definitely be worth the wait.

   Updates on the rest of the Volkov Bratva Series.

   Luka and Alex's story will definitely be next, though I'm still trying to work out the kinks of their relationship in my head, trying to transfer those ideas to paper. Luka is one of my favorite characters, but his crazy comes with baggage and I'm almost afraid to delve into that.

   Klaus and Reagan's story will be after Luka's. I've mentioned previously that I would be including The Last Volkov in his book, and that's still the case. That means, the first part of the book will be The Last Volkov--since it tells Klaus' background. Right now, his book may be the longest in the entire series since I want him to be understood. Like that saying, 'to understand who I am, you have to know where I've been.'

   Both of those are set to release in late fall, and will more than likely be back to back. October/November. Something like that. Of course I'll provide more details once the releases are closer.

The Kingmaker

    Last night I started on the first book in The Kingmaker series. (This does not affect The Final Hour at all. I'm still hard at work on that).
    I had no intention of even touching the series until after I was completely done with the Volkov Bratva Series, but as I was trying to force myself to keep writing on The Final Hour, I realized that if I wanted to keep with the original image I had for the book, I needed to take a step back and give myself a break from it.
    Since April 1st of last year, Mishca and Lauren's world have been all I've worked on. I've spent countless hours doing research on the inner workings of the Vory v Zakone, figuring out who my characters were, and pretty much plotted out every single detail that needed to be added into the books. Now, I kind of just need a break.
    It won't be for long, maybe for a few days tops since I can never leave M&L alone for too long.

    Anyway...

    The Kingmaker.
    I've had the idea for this storyline for a while now, and I'm definitely excited to see where this goes. I don't want to reveal too much, only that the characters names are Uilleam (pronounced you'll--lee-em) and Karina. It's set in Chicago, one of the largest organized crime capitals in the world.
    Should be fun, right?
    Currently, I have three planned, you can see the titles here, and I guess you could say they end in a cliffhanger. (Sorry, I know how some people hate those). But I think it's entirely worth it. I always do

Expectations.

    To kick off my first post, I wanted to first sit down and have a little chat. If you have been following the Volkov Bratva series with me, you will notice that I have been making many changes to it through out. It went from being two books, to three, from three to five with the last two being stand-alones.
    I know that many readers are not big fans of cliffhangers and some of them find them unnecessary. While they are fully entitled to that opinion, I believed that it was important to write the stories the way I saw them, not because I was trying to prolong the story lines, but because if I would have tried to consolidate everything that needed to happen for Mishca and Lauren to be together in one book, I would have either made it a hell of a long book, or cut corners. I wanted to do neither, so...three books. Now book three, The Final Hour, is going to be long, and I do mean long. Everyone that has ever played a part in this series are going to have their moments and their actions and purposes will be revealed.
    It's going to be one hell of a ride and I really hope you're ready for what they have planned for you. Because of the work it's going to take to finish up The Final Hour, I have decided not to publish Bleeding Stars which is Mishca's novella.
    DON'T FRET!
    Once it is complete, I will actually be offering it here on my website as a free read as a thank you to all of my readers.
    The Last Volkov, however, will be in (Red.) which is Klaus' story. If you haven't read Until the End, I know you're probably wondering who the hell that is. Sorry, I won't be telling you on here. Just know that you would probably want to read to find out.
    That brings me to my next point. After The Final Hour, the last two books of the Volkov Series will be next.
    The Gilded Room: Luka's Story.
    Red.: Klaus' Story.
    I'm not sure who is coming first, since both stories happen around the same time, but of course I'll be letting you know when the dates are closer.

    So what comes after the Volkov Bratva Series?
    The Kingmaker Series which is going to be an absolute blast. I don't want to reveal to much, but the Hero is older than Mishca though not by much. The tentative release date for the first novel in the series is March 25, 2015, mind you the date is tentative, so it could very well be before then.
 
    Another series?
    Yep, another series. For some reason, I think of long drawn out plots that cannot take place in just one book. (My cross to bear). But, mind you, they are all stand-alones. As of now, I have three books planned, no cliffhangers though they do deal with the same main characters in both.

    Alright, that's all I can tell you about that for now.

    On to the best part of this post.
    When the hell will The Final Hour be out?
